For 22+ years, I've been the person in your seat. Most recently as CCO and SVP of Communications at The Aspen Group, a $4 billion healthcare portfolio, and before that at Shutterfly, Headspace, Unilever and The Wonderful Company, across markets from the UK and Germany to China and Australia.

I started The CCO Dispatch because most communications commentary is written by people watching the game from the stands. This is written for the person who has to walk into the board room later this afternoon and provide smart counsel, who needs to think beyond dated best practices and advise based on the world as it is today, not the one from the last training deck.

So every morning, I evaluate the day’s breaking news to identify which narratives are gaining power, which statements landed or cratered, and what it means for the decision your CEO, your board, or your regulator makes next.
